        design portfolio        selected writings       about me

Hi, my name is Gabrielle.

I was born in a health food store with two moms in the Mile-High City, Denver, Colorado (where my first-ever published work was the winning poem in the Denver Post’s rodeo-themed haiku contest).
I graduated from Parsons with a BBA in strategy and design then earned an MA in history of design and curtaorial studies from Cooper Hewitt Design Museum. I have held freelance roles for brands and organizations including Dwell, Architizer, The Museum of Modern Art, Van Cleef and Arpels, Christie's, AIGA, and more.

Currently, I am an editor at The Architect’s Newspaper/AN Interior Magazine.

Write to me for inquires pertaining to design/architecure/art-related writing/creative directing inquiries ... and of course about things like potential opportunities and collaborations
(or, just to say hello).

To the right (or below for mobile), you’ll see my favorite painting.

You can find my most recent articles on Dwell here, and Architizer here.
And, finally, here is a list of my other profiles, social media accounts, old websites, and so on:

P.S. For the record, I am a fan of the Oxford comma (serial comma).
