        design portfolio        selected writings       about me

Hi, my name is Gabby. 

I am from the Mile-High City, Denver, Colorado (where my first-ever published work was the winning poem in the Denver Post’s rodeo-themed haiku contest).

I graduated from Parsons with a BBA in strategy and design then earned an MA in history of design from Cooper Hewitt. I have held freelance roles for brands and organizations including Architizer, The Museum of Modern Art, Van Cleef and Arpels, Christie's, AIGA, and more. Currently, I write editorial and sponsored content for Dwell.com

I live in Brooklyn and work as a writer and designer. I love bikram, Borges, and burgers.

Write to me for help with all design/architecure/writing-related inquiries ... and of course about things like potential opportunities and collaborations
(or, just to say hello).

To the right (or below for mobile), you’ll see my favorite painting.

You can find my most recent articles on Dwell here, and Architizer here.
And, finally, here is a list of my other profiles, social media accounts, old websites, and so on:

P.S. For the record, I am a fan of the Oxford comma (serial comma).
